Whether it was traveling to Dublin, Ireland with the Young Mercy Leaders or starring in GMercyU’s latest play, Ashley Scheiber left her mark at Gwynedd Mercy University in just three short years.
As a member of the Honors Program, Scheiber was a dedicated scholar who extended her learnings beyond the classroom. She was part of GMercyU’s first study abroad program, travelling to Brescia, Italy and spoke at various conferences and retreats.
In true Mercy fashion, Scheiber has a passion for service. During her time at GMercyU, she took part in numerous Alternative Spring and Winter Break trips and was a member of the Scholar-in-Service to Pennsylvania AmeriCorps program.
In between classes and her service work, Scheiber somehow found the time to sing with the Voices of Gwynedd, co-found the English Students Association and spend her semesters as a Griffin Ambassador and Orientation Leader.
Sheiber epitomizes a student who embraced GMercyU’s values and continues to exhibit Mercy long after graduation by volunteering at the Compassionate Care Hopsice.
