Dr. Andrea Wolf joined Gwynedd Mercy University in August 2023 as an adjunct faculty member, following a long career in nurse practitioner education and practice.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Temple University in 1980; her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984; and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Case Western Reserve University in 2004.
Since 1995, she has held various positions both in teaching and leadership in family and adult nurse practitioner programs. Dr. Wolf began her nurse practitioner practice more than 40 years ago and maintained a family practice for 32 years providing primary care predominantly to women. Her early clinical practice also included contraception care and emergency medicine.
Currently, she is providing primary care as a volunteer NP in a free clinic serving refugees from a variety of countries.
