Carol Etlen is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Masters in Educational Administration Program at Gwynedd Mercy University. She holds an EdD from Arcadia University, and she is an educator with more than three decades of experience with a focus on students with disabilities and mental health disorders.
In K-12, Dr. Etlen's practice has included teaching, administration, counseling, and behavior therapy. Her experience has spanned multiple settings — urban, with the Philadelphia School District in multiple positions, and suburban, with the Abington School District as Special Education Supervisor and with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit as Early Intervention Manager.
Dr. Etlen is founder and owner of Partners Educational Consulting, LLC., a firm that provides special education consultation, Pennsylvania Department of Education cyclical monitoring preparation, and professional development and training to teachers, administrators, and parents in public, charter, and independent schools. She has presented at multiple conferences locally and in Limerick, Ireland, and she has won many awards during her journey.
Currently, Dr. Etlen also serves on the Boards of the Settlement Music School and the Black Women’s Educational Alliance.
