Janice Nuss, DSW, LCSW is the Program Director, Associate Professor, and the Director of Field Education for the Bachelor of Social Work program. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
She began her GMercyU career as an adjunct instructor in 2001. Before joining faculty full time in 2017, Janice spent 21 years in administration and clinical practice in the field of behavioral health and developmental disabilities; she also has more than 25 years of experience in trauma-informed care. Janice completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work at Temple University, and her doctorate at Millersville University.
Janice is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is passionate about field education as the signature pedagogy of Social Work education.
