She has a master’s degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lycoming College. She has been in the mental health field for more than 15 years. From 2018 to 2024, she served as a counselor as well as the University’s Alcohol and Other Drug Coordinator in GMercyU's Counseling Services Department.
Prior to joining the GMercyU counseling team, she worked in community mental health, specifically with Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorders, with a focus on career counseling. Jesse’s clinical specialties include: Trauma disorders, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and career counseling.
