Judith McDonald is a part-time Instructor for the Radiation Therapy program at Gwynedd Mercy University.
She earned a bachelor's degree at Kutztown University and a Radiation Therapy Certificate from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. She has also earned certifications in Radiography, Mammography, Radiation Therapy Clinical Education Supervisor, and one from the Lehigh Valley Health Network.
While she became a radiation therapist in 2008, McDonald has actively worked in the radiation sciences for 44 years. Remarkably, 37 of those years were spent with The Lehigh Valley Health Network. She continues to stay active in her profession, working as a radiation therapist at Grand View Hospital.
McDonald is in good standing with the ARRT (American Registry Radiologic Technology) and ASRT (American Society Radiologic Technology). She is also a member of the honors organizations Pi Sigma Alpha and Lambda Nu.
"I believe that continuing to work in my profession allows me to participate in the career that I love, while enabling me to meaningfully contribute to the education of future Radiation Therapists enrolled at Gwynedd Mercy University. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the students entrusted to me."
