Dr. Kathleen V. Davis served in increasingly responsible professional/academic positions in higher education universities, community colleges, and in K-12 school settings with a career of successful and accomplished achievements and commitment to leadership in the academy. Through her service as an associate vice president, dean, chief academic officer, community college president, and associate professor she has dedicated her time and talents to advancing the mission of higher education. She is proficient in the most state-of-the-art technology associated with sound pedagogy in the development, implementation and application of new program development and the online mode of course delivery.
She has been an advocate for advancing leadership opportunities for women, enrollment growth, access strategies for graduate students and the adult nontraditional student. Dr. Davis has served as a peer evaluator for regional accreditation for 15 years and is committed to effective change models through means of her transformational leadership style.
Dr. Davis currently is a sole proprietor consultant in higher education and serves as a dissertation advisor to doctoral students at Gwynedd Mercy University; guiding her advisees to their ultimate finish line- the doctorate degree. She believes that Gwynedd Mercy cares about each doctoral student. It is a highly nurturing environment.
