Megan Mustachio joined the faculty at Gwynedd Mercy University on a full-time basis in August 2019, having worked as an adjunct faculty member for the previous three years. Prior to GMercyU, she worked as a staff nurse at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as staff and management at an outpatient wound care clinic in Norristown.
Professor Mustachio received her Nursing degree from Aria Health School of Nursing; bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Chamberlain University and is currently enrolled at West Chester University in pursuit of her doctorate. She holds certifications as a Healthcare Simulation Educator and in Wound Care.
She is a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and Sigma Theta Tau as well as several committees at GMercyU. She is an active volunteer in the local community with the North Penn Little League and Rylie's Rescue as a dog foster.
