She has spent her career working in the acute inpatient rehabilitation setting, working with adults who sustained spinal cord injuries, cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injuries, and numerous other neurologic and orthopedic conditions.
Prior to joining Gwynedd Mercy University, Professor Mueller served as an adjunct faculty member at University of the Sciences (now St. Joseph’s University) teaching over seven different lab courses ranging from movement analysis to cognitive interventions. Clinically, she was a level III occupational therapist on the spinal cord injury unit at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital in Elkins Park, PA.
Professor Muller earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy and her Bachelors in Health Sciences from University of the Sciences (now St. Joseph’s University). She completed her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She is also an executive board member for United Spinal Association, Greater Philadelphia chapter.
