Dr. Hawks joined the Gwynedd Mercy faculty on a full-time basis in August 2021. Prior to that, she worked in Nursing Professional Development and other inpatient health care settings.
Dr. Hawks received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Millersville University, Master’s in Critical Care Nursing from Widener University, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from West Chester University. She holds certifications in Critical Care Nursing and Gerontological Nursing.
Dr. Hawks has presented at both local and national conferences. She has co-authored several articles and is the author of a book on Critical Care Nursing. Dr. Hawks is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau.
