Nancy McCormack joined the faculty at Gwynedd Mercy University on a full-time basis in August 2023, having previously worked as an adjunct faculty the previous two years. She has worked in a variety of settings, specifically behavioral health and substance abuse (acute, sub-acute, geri-psych, residential units, drug and alcohol units, methadone clinic, chronically homeless programs, and eating disorders) . In addition she has four years of experience in both skilled and long-term care.
Nancy McCormack received her associate degree from Delaware County Community College, then later pursued her bachelor's of science degree as well as her master's of science degree in Nursing from American Sentinel University. Most recently she became a board-certified Nurse Coach.
Her certifications include: Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), Certified Anxiety Informed Professional (CAIP), Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional (CMIP}, Nurse Coach-Board Certified NC-BC.
Her professional memberships include the Amercian Nurses Association, Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, American Cannabis Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.
