Dr. Nicole Kyser was born and raised in Chicago, Il. She earned her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University located in Chicago, Il. and PhD in Counselor Education from Old Dominion University, located in Norfolk, VA.
She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She is currently working as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has more than 10 years of teaching experience in the Mental Health Counseling Program and has presented on state and national levels on topics such as supervision, technology and counseling, and students with disabilities in higher education.
