Stephane Fratantaro joined the Gwynedd Mercy University community in 1999 and has served in a variety of roles in both the division of Student Services and the School of Arts and Sciences.
Currently, Stephanie is a full-time Professor of Practice in the Psychology department, teaching courses in Counseling and Communication Skills, Group Processes, and the Psychology of Nonviolence. Stephanie is currently the University’s Director of General Education and Coordinator forThe Griffin Edge/Distinctive Mercy Experience initiative, which seeks to enhance student engagement through the development of meta-cognitive skills and the integration of reflective practices in general education coursework, experiential learning, and co-curricular offerings.
Stephanie holds a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University, is a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her faculty role, Stephanie maintains an outpatient therapy practice outside of the University.
