Money Magazine Ranked GMercyU Among the Top 500 Colleges
Money Magazine ranked Gwynedd Mercy University among the top 500 colleges for 2017-2018. GMercyU was chosen, in part, due to its financial aid packages, student success measures, and varied learning modalities.
GMercyU's strong foundation in the liberal arts, paired with its rate of 100 percent of first-time, full-time freshmen who receive financial aid, sealed the University's spot on the list.
The magazine also noted that the options for on-ground or online learning made a GMercyU degree accessible for all types of students. While traditional-aged students tend to take the majority of their classes on Main Campus, the School of Graduate and Professional Studies offers on-ground and online classes to working adults around the country.
MONEY ranked colleges based on 27 measures of educational quality, affordability and alumni success, according to the magazine.
The magazine also noted the salary of alumni after attendance. Earlier in 2017, GMercyU was found to be among the Top 25% of schools nationwide for Return on Investment, according to Payscale's 2017 rankings.
Earlier this month, the University's accounting program was ranked 14th in the nation in its category, due in part to the CPA exam pass rates of its graduates. Many of those students participated in the CPA-Track Accounting program, which allows undergraduates students the opportunity to earn enough credits to be able to sit for the CPA exams immediately upon graduation.
