Survey Reports 97% of Recent GMercyU Graduates Are Employed or in Grad School
Every year, Gwynedd Mercy University's Career Development Center conducts an annual survey of recent graduates to learn their post-graduation career status.
According to the Career Outcomes Survey for graduating classes in August 2020, December 2020 and May 2021, 97% of the respondents were either employed or attending graduate school approximately four to six months after graduation.
"We call this The Griffin Edge," said President Deanne H. D'Emilio, JD. "With close mentorship from our expert faculty, 100% of full-time students take part in real-world learning and service opportunities, all while developing leadership and communication skills that employers most want."
Data for the survey was gathered from individual graduates, online sources, and faculty. These methods of reporting outcome data follow the guidelines established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
A GMercyU degree also has one of the strongest returns on investment in the nation. GMercyU ranks among the top 6% in the nation for 10-year earnings, according to a survey conducted in 2019 by Georgetown University's Center on Education and the Workforce.
