Coach Mondillo Talks GMercyU Women's Basketball on KYW's 1-on-1 with Matt Leon

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (3/2/2022) - Deep in the stretch run of the 2021-2022 season, Gwynedd Mercy University Director of Athletics and Head Women's Basketball Coach Keith Mondillo took some time to talk about his passion for this school, his program, and his profession on KYW's podcast, 1-on-1 with Matt Leon. Mondillo has served as the head of the Gwynedd Mercy University women's basketball program for the last 25 years. During that time, he has taken on the role of director of athletics and directed the women's basketball team to a 464-199 (.700) record that includes seven conference championships and nine National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) appearances.
Prior to the 2021-2022 season, Coach Mondillo ranked 36th on the current list of winningest active coaches in the NCAA Division III and 44th on the list of all-time DIII coaches. Mondillo serves on several NCAA committees, the NCAA Women's Basketball Committee for Division III, and as Chair Person of the Mid-Atlantic Region Ranking Committee. From 2005-2009 he served ont he NCAA Women's Basketball Rules Committee, which spand NCAA Divisions I, II, and III. Mondillo played high school basketball at Archbishop Kennedy High School from 1986-1989 and collegiate basketball at Arcadia University from 1989-1993. He graduated from Arcadia University in 1993 with a B.A. in political science and earned his master's degree in education from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2004.
