GMercyU Alumna Honored with “Powerful Latina” Award

Evelyn Nuñez has been in the field of education for nearly 30 years. In 2017, she graduated from GMercyU with her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Presently, Nuñez serves as the School District of Philadelphia’s Chief of Schools.

Nuñez recently received a “Powerful Latina” Award during Hispanic Media’s annual award ceremony honoring the most outstanding Hispanic women of the year. Latinas Lifestyle 2022 ambassadors nominated and selected Nuñez for this honor.
