GMercyU Receives RACP Grant to Assist in Funding Healthcare Innovation Center
Senator Maria Collett and Representative Liz Hanbidge announced $4,575,000 in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants to help fund four projects around their legislative districts.
GMercyU is one of the four recipients of the RACP grant, being awarded $1.25 million for the new Frances M. Maguire Healthcare Innovation Center.
“We are truly grateful for Representative Hanbidge and Senator Collett’s support in helping us move this exciting project forward. This funding supports our plans to build a new healthcare innovation center, which will help us meet the urgent need for more compassionate healthcare professionals in the region. The Frances M. Maguire Healthcare Innovation Center and Campus will build upon Gwynedd Mercy University’s leadership in healthcare education by providing a state-of-the-market environment in which students will prepare to emerge as leaders and innovators in meeting the next great need in healthcare,” said President Deanne H. D’Emilio.
