Student Engagement Donates Bikes to Local Non-Profit

Gwynedd Mercy University's Office for Student Engagement donated bikes to Neighborhood Bike Works prior to winter break.

Neighborhood Bike Works inspires youth and strengthens Philadelphia communities by providing equitable access to bicycling and bike repair through education, recreation, leadership, and career-building opportunities.

The organization reaches youth how to fix bikes, gives them a chance to earn a bike and to explore new places by bike. A majority of the youth they work with live in low-income neighborhoods and 80% are people of color.
