Paris Is Burning Screening

Join us for a film on the 1980s seen through the eyes of NYC’s African American and Latinx Harlem drag ball scene, an intimate portrait of rival fashion “houses,” from fierce contests for trophies, to house mothers offering sustenance in a world rampant with homophobia, racism, AIDS, and poverty.

GMercyU’s After Dark program is excited to sponsor $5 discount student tickets all month to the African American Museum (AAMP) in Philadelphia. Tickets can be purchased on our online marketplace and emailed within 48 business hours starting February 1!
