Dubbed "Griffins Go Pink," the initiative will include the Red and Gold's field hockey game versus Penn State Harrisburg on October 9 (4:00 p.m.) and the women's volleyball match versus Delaware Valley University on October 17 (6:00 p.m.). Fans, friends, and families of Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics can purchase "Griffins Go Pink" t-shirts - available in a variety of sizes (S - XXL) - for a cost of $15 apiece through the women's lacrosse office by contacting Head Coach Meghan Sacks (sacks.m@gmercyu.edu or 267-448-1363).

METAvivor is dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. At the time of METAvivor's founding, no organization was dedicated to funding research for the disease and no patient groups were speaking out about hte dearth of stage 4 cancer research. While more and more people have taken up the cry for more stage 4 research, METAvivor remains the sole U.S. organizaiton dedicated to awarding annual stage 4 breast cancer research.
