Gwynedd Mercy University Names New Vice President for Enrollment Management
Gwynedd Mercy University has named Aimee Huffstetler, MA as its new Vice President for Enrollment Management. She has been serving in the role of interim vice president since October 2024.
“I am honored to lead such a talented and committed Admissions team that’s focused on transforming lives through a Mercy education,” said Huffstetler.
As the Vice President for Enrollment Management, Huffstetler will serve as the University’s Chief Enrollment Officer, overseeing the recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students in more than 80 programs.
“The Gwynedd Mercy University community is excited to have Aimee lead our enrollment efforts,” said Gwynedd Mercy University President Deanne H. D’Emilio, JD. “Her achievements thus far have contributed to year-over year increases in new student enrollment, and we are delighted to see her work continue.”
Since joining GMercyU in 2022, Huffstetler has helped transform the University’s admissions department, helping to launch a new customer relationship management system, expanding school partnerships, and increasing the number of students coming to campus to learn more about GMercyU’s mission-centered academic and co-curricular programs, among other accomplishments. Huffstetler brings more than 15 years of experience in Admissions to the role. Prior to joining GMercyU, she served as Associate Director of Diversity Recruitment at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She also has served as an admissions counselor and coordinator of multicultural recruitment at Western Kentucky University and as admissions counselor and events coordinator at her alma mater, Hollins University in Virginia.
