Current Position: Staff Accountant, Kreischer Miller
I came to GMercyU because I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I was able to continue my athletic career while also receiving my degrees, and far away enough from home where I could genuinely enjoy the university experience while being close enough to go home if necessary.

As a student at Williamstown High School in New Jersey, Julia was recruited by Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Shannon Algeo to play for the team.
Julia double majored in Finance and the Accounting CPA Track, which she described as challenging due to the number of classes required. To stay on track for graduation, Julia took six classes per semester and four summer classes to complete the necessary 155 credits.
"My favorite part of GMercyU was the small classroom size because I built relationships with my profesors," Julia said.
Aside from being a member of the Women's Lacrosse Team during her four years, Julia also served as the team's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative. She served as the Chair of Student-Athletes for The Hidden Opponent, an advocacy group to erase the stigma and raise awareness of student-athlete mental health. During her senior year, she was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Student-Athlete Honor Society.
Outside of athletics, Julia was a member of Black Student Union, Student Government Association (SGA), and Student Activities Committee.
Starting in October 2022, Julia will work as an auditor at Kreischer Miller, an accounting firm in Horsham, Pa.
